Ripped My Clothes Off + Jumped In The Shower
This is kind of how it went….I didn’t think anything of it at first, eh, it will dissipate and everything will be ok. But it didn’t. I started to get a little bit of headache, then a piercing headache. Then I got dizzy and nauseated. I really felt like I was going to faint. The next thing I knew I was ripping my clothes off and jumping in the shower!

To this day if I even come close to that fragrance, I can feel the pounding in my head and the beads of sweat on my face! It was horrible. I never thought I had an issue with fragrance, but this one made me want to vomit.
While mine is more of an olfactory sensitivity, it is a sensitivity, nonetheless. I don’t really like skincare products or body care products with a very strong, overly perfumie (is that even a word? LOL) fragrance. They always make me nauseated.
Sometimes, fragrance just kicks you in the ass. It can cause reactions that we can’t predict. Skin sensitivity to ingredients that are designed to enhance the fragrance of a product is a very real issue. Many people are reactive to synthetic fragrances, some are even reactive to anything with a scent, even natural ingredients.
That’s why having fragrance free options is amazing! We reached out to our friends in the industry and asked who offered products that had no fragrance. Some of them we already knew and we were so pumped to find a few new options too!
