The Anima Element by DermaJEM

With the Ruffle Wave tips you can offer hydrodermabrasion to your more sensitive clients. The Ruffle Wave gives you the ability to have a more gentle mechanical exfoliation without the diamond tip and still have the chemical exfoliation with the serum that you choose. The Anima Element Hydro-dermabrasion and Oxygen infusion is a perfect way to introduce your clients to hydrodermabrasion. Even your clients that have had hydrodermabrasion have not had the special Element Facial. The Element is unique because it is so versatile and allows you to work on all skin types.

Our Review Of Products For A Skin Care Routine For Sensitive Skin Clients

Calming Serum by Sesha Skin Therapy

We tried this right after Sesha released it in 2020. It’s a thicker viscosity serum, with a sight Tea Tree scent, it’s easily absorbed and feels great on the skin.

Bio-Barrier Calming Serum was initially developed in response to the needs of frontline workers, first responders, healthcare and essential workers to protect the skin after wearing tight-fitting masks for extended periods of time during the Covid 19 pandemic.

This product is an oil-based serum with a non greasy application. It quickly absorbs into the skin to hydrate and calm the skin while also strengthening the skin barrier. Formulated with essential oils for their antimicrobial benefits, this serum will help protect and heal the skin. Designed for all skin types.

Oil Free Moisturizing Gel by BiON Skincare

Ironically, both of our (Jenni and Barry) nephews have acne prone skin and have used this product to improve their acne!  I, (Barry), had a chance to try it and loved it.  It’s a gel that has a thick viscosity, zero scent, and absorbs into the skin quickly.  Love this!

Designed for more acne-prone skin, BiON’s Oil Free Moisturizing Gel hydrates without oils and restores your skin’s natural moisture balance. It’s a great option to moisturize sensitive skin.

A combination of amino acids, vitamins and antioxidants protects the skin from free radical damage, adds proteins that build collagen and elastin and increases water content in the top layers of the skin. This non-comedogenic moisturizer is recommended for normal, oily and acne prone skin and has a calming and soothing effect. It leaves your skin feeling soft, smooth and hydrated.

C-Difference by Dermamed Solutions

This is a winner! I, (Barry) used this during my 30 Days of dmSkincare and was impressed.  Thin viscosity, a warm golden hue, zero fragrance and it sinks right in!

C-Difference is a daily moisturizer with vitamin C, for sensitive skin, damaged vessel relief and anti-aging and a treatment for rosacea.

Unique, oil-free moisturizer which offers rosacea and anti-aging support to even the most sensitive skin types. Sodium hyaluronate provides superior moisture through its ability to penetrate deeply, deliver water and improve nutrient absorption. Endothelyol®, a new and revolutionary ingredient that controls all of the major skin inflammation factors – addressing both current and future vascular eruptions to reduce visible redness and signs of rosacea. Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate offers vitamin C in a gentle form to aid leaky, inflamed blood vessels and provide substrate for new collagen production. Glucosamine HCl and bisabolol contribute anti-inflammatory and skin rejuvenation support in this nutrient-rich formula packaged in a light, silky lotion that really makes a “difference” in skin tone and texture.

Saffron Meristem Cream by Hale & Hush

Love this cream, rich and thick but absorbs easily.  Zero scent.  Love the science!

Saffron Meristem Cream is a luxurious comfort cream loaded with numerous key ingredients for the complete corneotherapy care of your dry, sensitive clients.  It contains Shea butter and the special complexes listed below to moisturize, calm redness and irritation, nourish and repair the skin barrier.  This helps strengthen the stratum cornea in order to protect against daily wear and tear from environmental toxins.  The exciting part, however, is the Saffron Meristems. Saffron is well-known as one of the world’s most expensive spices.

Hale & Hush is one of the first skin care brands to use Saffron Meristems. The Meristems (think plant stem cells) contain all the power of Saffron to provide antioxidant, anti-aging and brightening benefits.

Thank you to our annual sponsors: hale & hush, celluma, dermajem, bion, sesha and dermamed solutions for sponsoring this content.
