Review Of Microneedling + Nano Channeling
This review of microneedling + nano channeling is something that I’ve been dying to do! There is so much in the spa industry right now about the use of microneedling and nano channeling and I’ve been dying to break it down. Brace yourself, you’ll need some numbing cream!
What Is Microneedling?
Also known as Collagen Induction Therapy! This treatment causes a controlled wound to the skin. The body’s natural healing defenses kick in and begin to repair the damage. The fibroblasts in the skin are triggered to produce collagen in the skin. This causes the skin to lift, firm and tighten. During these sessions you can infuse product into the skin in order to achieve desired effects. I love infusing firming peptides and Vitamin C to lift, tone and brighten.
Depth of penetration is the sticky point! Superficial penetration is considered micro-channeling / nano channeling. All of the work is being done in the most superficial layer of the skin’s surface – the epidermis. When the needles penetrate into the dermis, the treatment is considered mincroneedling. You can control depth of penetration with settings on most devices. Many state licenses for estheticians dictate what depth is acceptable if the state allows for microneedling at all.
Generally, the depth of the penetration, the deeper the wound, the more healing that’s required, the more impact on desired effects of toning and tightening. It’s also considered common practice to perform multiple treatments over the course of several months to get cumulative effects of the desired result!
First, there’s no single treatment that can change anyone’s skin if the skin isn’t at optimal levels. Want to make sure your clients’ skin is in its best state? Review of Microneedling +Nano Channeling CIT Pen
CIT Pen - Herbal Skin Solutions
Loved this treatment. The pen is easy to use. I easily attached the treatment tip of my choice. I opted for the silicone nano channeling tip. This tip is the most gentle. The needles are smaller than the size of human hair and never go below the epidermis. They just create “micro-channels” in the skin’s surface that help to infuse products.
I used the Vitamin C+ Enhancement serum from Herbal Skin Solutions and went to work on my skin! Check out my quick 3 min YouTube with the time lapse treatment. You can also check out my YouTube video or all of the products that I’m using from Herbal Skin Solutions.
I’ll be doing a microneedling treatment in Mid May! Look for a review of microneedling video form as soon as I do the treatment!
The CIT Pen, or Collagen Induction Therapy Pen, utilizes tiny needles to make micro openings in the top layer of the skin, thus stimulating the lower layers to produce more collagen and elastin. Just as you have to stress muscle fibers to build more muscle, this stress on the lower layers of skin will stimulate the body to self- repair with more structural support.
It was made specifically for the practicing esthetician by removing the pesky cord that often got in the way with other devices, as well as adding options for higher speeds, dual batteries, and easy custom depth to allow for a variety of cosmetic or medical treatments.
Once she had the ideal device, the CIT Pen, Kaelin knew that to truly help estheticians achieve a higher level of success, she needed to provide more than a standard set of instructions.
So, along with the founding of Herbal Skin Solutions, she also began its sister platform, The Esthetics Academy, which provides a comprehensive and ongoing training program for CIT Pen providers at no additional cost so you can be truly successful in providing your clients with real results.
As today’s consumers become savvier and their desire for new natural products and new technologies skyrocket, Herbal Skin Solutions is here to help you cater to this emerging market by providing the platinum standard.
