DMK Skincare Saved His Face After Basal Cell Carcinoma
DMK Skincare to the rescue!
On July 22nd I was scrolling through my Instagram stories and saw my friend John posted a photo of a large bandage on his nose and eye with a caption that said something about learning to wear sunscreen.
My heart stopped – my biggest fear is having a piece of my nose or ear removed from skin cancer.
I immediately texted John and asked if he was ok. Then he told me that he had to have a Basal Cell Carcinoma removed from his nose. He asked if I wanted to see the photos – um – DUH! YES PLEASE!
I don’t know that I’ll ever recover from seeing that first image John sent me with a pencil sized hole in the tip of his nose!
Without hesitation, I said, “I can help you fix this!” After I hung up with John, I pondered – how can I help him? Then I remember seeing a horrific scar correction before and after photo on the Lipgloss + Aftershave Instagram that was from a DMK skincare clinic. Then I recalled how spectacular my own skin looked after my 30 Days Of DMK Skincare.
After a quick call to Jenni – we both agreed – “Call Drew at DMK!”

Over the past year we’ve been showcasing DMK International before and after images on the Lipgloss + Aftershave Instagram, there was one from April 25th, that made both Jenni and I say that we needed to call DMK International to help John.

John’s DMK Skincare Story
I reached out to Drew at DMK Skincare and explained John’s situation and without even 1 second of hesitation, he said, “We got this!”! We’ll set him up with a DMK Skincare clinic near you and get him on DMK Skincare Home Prescriptives. Drew set us up with Allyson-Brittany of Allyson-Brittany Aesthetics. Allyson would provide 3 DMK Skincare’s Enzyme Therapy Treatments and recommend a home care protocol of DMK Skincare Prescriptives. She would also monitor John’s progress and adjust as needed.
I then called John and explained DMK skincare’s offer – and explained that we’d document the entire process and create a really cool time-line recap story. John was very motivated to participate!
John documented his daily progress with photos, kept a diary of his clinic visits and his daily home care.

John's Day-by-Day Time Line
July 21, 2020 Day 1
John has a Basal Cell Carcinoma removed from the left side of his nose. A large hole is left on his nose where the cells were removed. The doctor then cut the remaining skin on John’s nose to move it in order to cover the hole that was created. This resulted in a long scar on the left side of his nose.
In the June 21st photos you can see that John’s nose isn’t swollen – YET.
July 22, 2020 Day 2
First day post-procedure, you can clearly see that John’s nose and eye are red and seriously inflammed.
July 28, 2020 Day 8
